NEW! Educational Awards now available: GSDA is now offering TWO educational awards of $250 each available to Registered Dietitians, Diet Techs and Certified Nutritionists to be put towards an educational experience in 2012: seminar, conference, workshop, symposium etc. Recipients will present some aspect of their experience either via an article or presentation of some kind. Applications are now available and are due December 1st.
GSDA Fall Conference: October 27, 2011 6:30-8:30am at Phinney Neighborhood Center.
Free for GSDA Members, $30 for non-members. We will network and enjoy some wine & cheese first. Soon after our speaker Judy Simon, will speak on Nutrition & Fertility. For more info click here.
Start! Puget Sound Heart Walk: Saturday, October 15, 2011 7:30am; Walk at 9:00am, Seattle Center Festival. Event ends 11:00am. It's a 3-mile walk through Downtown Seattle and a wonderful opportunity to get exercise, meet and network with fellow dietitians, all while supporting a great cause! GSDA Networking Night: September, 2011 6:30-8:30 pm. The end of summer is approaching! For those of you that would enjoy being outdoors & meeting some Dietitians in the Greater Seattle area, this event is for you! Lavendar Lemonade, Sangria & Tapas will be provided. This event is for members only! However, if you are planning to join GSDA we will have membership applications available.
