Membership

The Greater Seattle Dietetic Association is accepting membership applications from dietitians, dietetic technicians, those holding baccalaureate and advanced degrees in nutrition, dietetics and related fields, and current students.

Our membership year runs from June 1 to May 31, but applications are accepted anytime.

* New Policy *

There is a new category of GSDA member, the Guest Subscriber. You no longer need to be a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to join GSDA. You may join with our new category of membership, the guest subscriber.

If you are a dietitian, diet tech, nutrition professional, or a nutrition student who would be eligible for membership to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, you can now join GSDA even if you have not renewed your Academy membership. You may join GSDA with our new category of membership, the guest subscriber. Guest subscribers receive all benefits of regular membership EXCEPT they may not vote, may not hold office on the GSDA Board, and admission fees to some events my be higher.

Membership Cost:
$35.00 for regular membership (Academy members)

$10.00 for student membership (Academy members) Include verification of current school enrollment.

$40.00 for guest subscriber (non-Academy)

$15.00 for guest student subscriber (non-Academy) Include verification of current school enrollment.

Free for retired members

To Join, follow these steps:

1. Complete a GSDA membership form and return to GSDA either by U.S. mail or e-mail.
2. Submit payment either by U.S. mail or online using Paypal.

E-mail membership form (and for students your class schedule) to Membership Chair, and use the PayPal link provided. Please note that amount includes a small Paypal fee.

*If you pay online, you still need to send a copy of the membership form so we have your information.
