Speakers Bureau

The Greater Seattle Dietetic Association Speakers Bureau is a resource for the community to connect groups with nutrition professionals to speak or provide presentations or cooking demos. The pool of potential speakers is made up of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, Dietetic Technicians, as well as Nutrition & Dietetic Students & Interns. Review speakers below listing their areas of expertise and short biographies.  
 
Greater Seattle Dietetic Association does not endorse or sponsor any of the listed speakers. Each individual is a member of the GSDA organization, however, will represent themselves in each speaking opportunity. Speaking rates will vary and shall be determined between the individual nutrition professional and the inquiring party.
 

Name and credentials: Christy Goff, MS, RDN, CD, RYT200
Topics of expertise: General nutrition topics (meal planning, debunking diets, food & mood connection), disease prevention classes (brain, heart health, cancer prevention, osteoporosis, nutrition for the immune system) and many more.
 
Bio: Christy Goff is a registered dietitian nutritionist and yoga instructor with Pacific Medical Centers. She graduated with a masters from Bastyr University and has since worked in various settings including as a clinical dietitian, as a dietitian with the federal program for women, infants and children (WIC), and with SNAP-ED program. Christy is often in the media with interviews by Q13 Fox and King5, producing original cooking videos and is a regular representative on the PacMed social media pages. Additionally, she is a past president and board member of the Greater Seattle Dietetic Association. No matter her job title, she helps clients start on a journey to solve their health goals through counseling, webinars, and general community education. In her free time she enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, photography and traveling.
 
 
Name and credentials: Ginger Hultin MS RDN
Topics of expertise: plant-based diets, healthy cooking demos and meal prep, integrative health (topics on supporting the immune system, nutrigenomics, balanced diets, food and mood), lowering inflammation through diet; cancer treatment, risk reduction and oncology-related topics
Bio: Ginger Hultin, MS, RD is a nationally recognized media Registered Dietitian. A nutrition and health writer, she owns Seattle-based concierge nutrition practices, Champagne Nutrition® LLC and Seattle Cancer Nutritionist where she helps clients solve complex health mysteries with an integrative approach. She specializes in vegetarian/plant-based diets, ketogenic diets, integrative/holistic nutrition, oncology nutrition, supplements, alcohol and health, and nutrigenomics. Ginger also enjoys talking to dietitians about professional development, improved communication, and social media strategy.

Ginger has spoken about nutrition and health around the country as well as internationally to large audiences. She enjoys bringing energy, humor and storytelling to her presentations, creating an interactive and engaging experience for the audience. Deeply evidence-based, she is able to speak to audiences with varied backgrounds, bringing people together through open-mindedness and inclusion.

Ginger currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health teaching master’s level nutrition students. She is a Vice-Chair for the Member and Student Advisory Committee at the Academy, President of the Seattle Dietetic Association, past President for the Chicago Academy and past chair of the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. She was awarded Emerging Dietetic Leader in Washington, 2020.
