Want to support a good cause?
Want to network?
Want to be active while having fun and supporting your profession?
One dietitian participating is an individual in a crowd of many. Several dietitians together wearing identifying tags with releases to the media demonstrate local dietitians’ commitment to the community and health. A coordinator will be responsible for putting groups together and organizing the project to ensure that the participating dietitians are identifiable. This is a great way to meet other local dietitians and do something fun all while supporting worthy causes and gaining recognition for our profession.
Activities in the works

- 100 Mile Dinner Fall 2010

- Heart Walk

Dietitians should be seen as the experts in nutrition and diet-related disease therapy. Help us achieve the recognition by participating with your fellow dietitians in runs and walks that are fundraisers for health/nutrition related issues. If you do so, GSDA will reimburse you for half of the entrance fee!
For further questions about this project, if you want to participate or volunteer to coordinate an event, or if you have any print or television media contacts, please contact the central coordinator, the current Public Relations Chairs.
