Our Specialty:

At Performance Kitchen Crafted we create hand-crafted, nutritious, freshly frozen meals that cater to several dietary preferences including Mediterranean, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, and Keto. 

These meals can be useful for a variety of patients and clients:

  • Those needing management of serum glucose, serum triglycerides, cholesterol, or sodium. 
  • Clients with gluten, wheat, and lactose allergies or sensitivities.
  • Those with eating disorders.
  • Clients with daily calorie targets, strength and performance goals, and a desire to fuel their workouts and maintain energy throughout the day.

Our company philosophy is “food is medicine,” and we apply that mentality to everything we do. The majority of our dishes contain less than 500mg of sodium and less than 4g of added sugars, and are cooked using avocado oil for a healthy source of fat. We believe that eating healthy doesn’t have to mean sacrificing taste. Our focus on herbs, spices, fruit and vegetables, and healthy fats enhances the flavor and maintains the integrity of our dishes.

Personalization:

Our in-store Registered Dietitians can customize meal plans free of charge to fit within your prescribed dietary recommendations for your clients. As an added bonus, for every client you refer to us, they will receive 5% back on all of their purchases.

Our storefront Nutrition Associates are passionate about food as it relates to overall health and wellness. They are very knowledgeable on product ingredients, allergens, flavor profiles, and recommending dishes based on preferences or dietary restrictions. They will be delighted to help you shop for healthier versions of all your traditional favorite dishes. 

Interested in a cooking demonstration for your next health promotion, worksite wellness, or outreach event? Our team of Chefs have the equipment, food, and skills needed to lead a demonstration focusing on a variety of topics. We always work with you to choose a topic that aligns with your objective. 

We also offer personalized nutrient testing through our partnership with Baze, because we firmly believe that no one should ever have to stress over meeting their nutrient goals. Our in-store kits are quick and easy to use, making it easy for clients to optimize their nutrient status. 

Here’s how it works: 

  1. Purchase a Baze kit.
  2. Take the at-home blood test. 
  3. Mail the kit to Baze using the provided box. 
  4. Download the Baze App to access your results.

That’s it! Clients can then choose the supplement plan or bring their results to one of our in-store RDs who can customize a meal plan to take a food forward approach to addressing any deficiencies and meeting their nutrient goals.

About Brianna Ballard, MS, RDN, CD 

Brianna Ballard, MS, RDN, CD is a Retail Dietitian with a Master’s Degree from Simmon’s University who was honored with the Nutrition and Health Promotion Outstanding Achievement Award in her graduating class. She serves on the board of the Greater Seattle Dietetic Association as President-Elect. In her current position as Store Manager and Dietitian with Performance Kitchen Crafted, she integrates her nutrition expertise into the shopping experience. She guides consumers to options best suited for their nutritional needs through one-on-one consultations, nutrition workshops, outreach events such as farmer’s markets, and more. Brianna recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest, and she has been enjoying the beautiful outdoors by hiking, kayaking, and skiing. Brianna sets herself apart by challenging her curiosity, which drives her to build efficient processes and innovative programming. She is passionate about helping others achieve a balanced lifestyle through healthy foods and truly embodies a ‘food is medicine’ approach.
