Join us for our third book club of the membership year discussing the book Fearing the Black Body: The Racial Origins of Fat Phobia by Sabrina Strings. Winner of the 2020 Body and Embodiment Best Publication Award, Fearing the Black Body provides a deep discussion on how the female body has been racialized for over two hundred years.  We’ll conduct an informal virtual chat and CPE opportunity.
