Season your food with herbs! There are many nutrition and health benefits to using herbs in cooking. Join this cooking demo to help your clients add more versatility and variety by learning new ways to flavor dishes! This session will begin with a short overview of the aromatic quality that herbs bring to food. Then, through a cooking demonstration, it will introduce creative new ideas for sprucing up everyday meals! Four different dishes that include a variety of herbs will be demonstrated (a main dish cooked w/ woody aromatics, roasted veggies w/ pesto, a shredded cabbage & herb salad, and a simple dessert w/mint). Recipes will also be shared with session participants. Please feel free to bring questions that you or your clients have about how to cook with herbs!

The session will be hosted by Margot Protzel who has worked in New York City restaurants for over 10 years. She is passionate about giving people the tools to make delicious food for themselves and people they love.
