Stacey Morrison from University of Washington School of Medicine’s one-of-a-kind multi-state medical education program (WWAMI – Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho) and Cori Garcia Hansen director of AHECWW (Area Health Education Centers of Western Washington University) will be speaking about a unique opportunity for MD, ND and RD students, which helps to bring healthcare services to rural and underserved areas. Learn about the AHEC Scholars Program and how aspiring dietitians can help to alleviate the shortages in healthcare and serve the specific needs of these communities.
