In this discussion, we will talk about the ways that identities show up in our clients relationship with food, body, and accessing care. Currently, marginalized folks have more difficulty accessing quality and equitable care. Additionally, folks of varying ethnic origins have difficulty accessing culturally inclusive and humble care to incorporate foods that feel authentic to them. In this discussion, we will explore ways our identities as clinicians impact the therapeutic relationship between clinician and client.
